My tours focus on environment and nature (no fishing). If you want to learn about our resident animals (e.g. seals, oyster catchers) and transient animals (e.g., sea lions, scoters, turkey vultures) as well as s basic knowledge of our geology, these tours are for you. Have a private tour - charter the boat for $150/hour (intermittent speeds), $170/hour full speed. You can bring up to 5 guest, your snacks, and your destination - of course, weather permitting. Go on any of the tours listed below but have the boat to yourself. ![]() The Belle Chain Nature Circuit (2-hr):
$300 Charter MAP We leave Horton Bay for Bennett Bay, Campbell Bay, Belle Chain Islets, Boat Passage, Boot Cove, Georgeson Passage and back to the Government Wharf. (Image: Surf Scoter) Things you will see: Majestic ocean scenery, the coast of Horton, Bennett, and Campbell Bay, multitudes of sea and shore birds, protected islets, seals and seal pups, sea lions - californian and stellar (early spring and late fall), lambs and rams on Samuel and Curlew Island, the narrow channel between Saturna and Samuel Islands. |

The Pender Island Adventure (2-hr):
$370 Charter MAP Leave Horton Bay for Port Browning, under the bridge joining North and South Pender, around Bedwell Harbour. The return home will either be via Browning Harbour or (weather permitting) around the tip of South Pender and back through Plumper Sound to Horton Bay. (IMAGE: Hope Bay Pender Island.) Things you will see: Majestic ocean scenery, multitudes of sea and shore birds, narrow channel between North and South Pender (under the bridge) seals in Browning Harbour, Poets Cove, and more. |
Circumnavigate Mayne Island (2-hr):
$370 Charter MAP Our adventure leaves Horton Bay through Georgeson Channel, around St. John Point, up Navy Channel, into Active Pass, up to Lighthouse Park ... and, weather permitting, down Georgia Strait, into David Channel, Around Edith Point, onto Campbell Bay and Bennett Bay, past Curlew Island and back to the Governent Wharf. We can spend extra time in areas of interest to guests. Our adventure leaves from Horton Bay WEATHER: If the winds are up on the strait or Navy Channel, we will take an alternative route. |
Cabbage Island Marine Park (3-hr):
Weather dependent $500 Charter Map Our trip leaves Horton and ventures out to the Belle Chain Islets, Anniversary Island then down to Cabbage Island Marine Park. Get your feet wet on the sandy beaches of this the small the island then returning through boat passage and Lizard Island to Horton Bay. It is a fabulous photographic opportunity.
